Sports Courts

Sports courts are available to community organizations and private individuals for athletic activities. Reserved use of a sports courts requires an Athletic Facility Request Application to be completed and submitted to Recreation Coordinator, Matt Kenney

Organized Play Permit

A permit is required for any organized play on any sports court. Organized play is defined as 12 or more persons engaging in a team sport, such as, but not limited to soccer, baseball, softball basketball, or football. The City offers a variety of sports courts available for reservations.  Facilities NOT available for reservation are noted in red, and are reserved for “Drop-in” play by residents as opposed to organized groups.

General Rules & Regulations

Use of City of Laguna Niguel Sports Courts is governed by the rules and regulations outline in the City of Laguna Niguel's Facilities Use Policy.

Pickleball Courts Rules & Regulations

Play at the Crown Valley Elementary School Pickleball Courts is governed by the following rules and regulations.    

Availability

All sports courts are available on a first come, first serve basis in accordance with the Field Allocation Policy.  The Crown Valley Elementary School Pickleball Court hours of operation vary throughout the year depending on scheduling of adjacent baseball fields.  

Fees

Fees assessed for reservation of a sports court are in accordance with the Athletic Facilities Fee Schedule.

Inclement Weather 

In the event of rain, all athletic facilities may remain closed depending on playability. Users should call the Athletic Field Hotline (Mudline) at (949) 362-4351 after 1:00 pm on weekdays, and 7:00am on weekends to get the latest field/court conditions. The hotline message will say which fields and courts are open and/or closed.
