The City of Laguna Niguel is currently accepting applications to fill positions on various City Commissions and Committees for 2021/2022. The deadline to submit applications is January 8, 2021 by 5:00 p.m. These are voluntary positions. Interviews will be conducted by Zoom at Special City Council meetings scheduled to be held on January 13 and January 14, 2021. All applicants that submitted a completed application prior to the deadline will be notified of an interview date and time after the application deadline. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Military Support Committee interviews will be conducted by the Military Support Committee Co-Chairs on a date and time to be determined. Applicants will be contacted with their interview date and time after the application deadline.

City Commission and Committee Application for 2021/2022Citizen participation in local government plays an important and active role in the City of Laguna Niguel. In an effort to achieve this ideal, the Laguna Niguel City Council has established various Commissions and Committees to review City programs and projects, and help address community concerns.
The primary role of City Commissions and Committees is to review and make recommendations to the City Council on matters within their scope of responsibility, and to promote increased public input and citizen participation in the determination of City policies and program implementation.
