    Summer Lecture Series! The Aging Eye presented by the University of California, Irvine Health. Dr. Lee will touch on vision loss in the elderly, as it is a major health care problem. Approximately one in three persons have some form of vision-reducing eye disease by the age of 65. The most common causes of vision loss among the elderly are age-related macular degeneration (AMD), glaucoma, cataract, and diabetic retinopathy.
