The Department is responsible for administering the City’s development process, committed to promoting and preserving the health, safety, general welfare, and quality of life for all people who live, work, and visit Laguna Niguel.  The following Department Divisions support this commitment: Building & Safety, Planning & Zoning, Code Compliance, Grading, Housing, and Community Preservation.
